1950s train set

    Asking for a friend.

    He found a hornby train set in the attic - maybe from the 1950's.

    Any advice on how to go about getting it valued?

    You could try eBay to look for similar sets. If you're near Bray, Co.Wicklow you could bring it to the monthly Fair there

    I've passed on the advice and also suggested Marks Models as apparently they also buy collectibles.
