Giving enemies the ability to see past 6 feet away from them is probably all they need to do to increase the challenge a bit.

Some change in this direction would be needed. Not relying on the radar would help as well, changing up the position of guards and their patrols routes etc...

Changing the guards vision would probably break the game-the areas in the game are quite small, even in comparison to 2/3. There’d be sections that would be impossible to traverse without being seen.

It does seem like you’d have to change a lot to modernise the game which sort of defeats the purpose.

Don't think too much into that. The old silent hill teammhave been with Sony for years after leaving Konami and have made the most interesting stuff from Sony. I'm hoping it means they continue making unique gaming experiences. A silent hill game is a waste of their talents.

The rumour specifically said that Keiichiro Toyama was working on it.
Of course it was always a nonsense rumour from a nonsense site that has been wrong a thousand times

It's depressing how poorly sony has treated this team and I'm glad to see them move on, just a shame sony suck too much to even let them have the Gravity Rush IP. Not that Sony will ever touch it again
