Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Do Intel create any desktop CPUs lower than i5? It's a mediocre PC spec at best, gaming or not.
And this thread is about FS which is a game, so not sure what your point is anyway.
Yes they do ... (not sure that was genuine question)
, and that rig will play "most games" at 1080 with ok frame rates (60fps -ish), you might have to drop the level of visual detail.
But FS2020 is not most games. Its looking like being one of the most demanding titles you can get.
I think its useful and informative to look at the different levels of spec that will get a usable, enjoyable, immersive experience. But that level will be different for everyone. I enjoy discussing the hardware aspect anyway.0 -

Yep but you will be able to install all addons with a simple click from the market place, much simplified from the previous iteration.
Just saw that confirmed now in this video by fellow Irishman Gripper Sim aka Reaction Review:
Much better than potentially game breaking X-Plane addons which are a balls to install imo.
Looks like he got the official release early.

I find him entertaining, hes either a Wickow or Wexford man, can't remember and is flight instructor for commercial pilots so he's earned his stripes.

I find him great entertainment, the way he just jumped in to the bushplane and landed on that strip in PNG then rolled backwards.:pac:
