New quote vs renewal quote with previous insurer

    Hi there,

I recently received a renewal quote from AXA and thought it was a bit high. I said I would take a chance at trying for a new quote with AXA with my 1 year No Claims Bonus. The "new" quote is lower than my renewal and all the details I have filled out are 100% correct, I have checked multiple times.

Is it okay for me to go with the "new" quote instead of my renewal?

    Thanks

    Yes it is.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

I have done this on a couple of occasions.

It's really strange. I had to get my NCB statement from them, and send it straight back to them as proof for the new policy!

Same here, different insurer. Just rang them and they amended the renewal quote on the spot. Didn't have to faff with getting and returning NCB docs either.
