Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I distinctly remember being taught that the Danube is the longest river in Europe. I found out years later that it's actually the Volga.

    Well, the Danube used to be the longest river in Europe, but then they drained some of the water out, and the Volga ended up being longer. I read a long article once about how they had to change all the geography books and the publishers were really angry.

    And rocks that crack open is always because of freeze thaw action. Could have fallen off a mountain or had an elephant sit on it!
