Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Moon & Mars Close Conjunction 8th August 2020

09-08-2020 5:25am#1I see mars and the moon are close to conjunction now. I only heard of this a few hours ago and took a short video camera hand-held shot, but as soon as I got the tripod and camera hooked up... The cloud completed the sky
I managed to catch a slightly shaky recording of the moon and mars, by a miracle. Tomorrow sunday in the early hours you should be able to get a shot of it yourself. Weather - fog, mist, cloud permitting.
