Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Im more intersted to find out why they are crash testing 1000 cars a year, thats almost 5 crashed cars in every working day. Will the 1000th crashed car really tell them any more than the 999 before them?

    Depends what you're testing. They might crash 30 cars to test a single point of impact on different objects.

    Test data can take a long time to gather.

    It's an unfortunate logo indeed but I don't think it means UL is full of Nazis. Most likely it was designed by some millennial or Gen-X student who like sooooo totally wasn't into all that like ancient Hitler and his like Roman legions history stuff like in like secondary school like. I'm sure it will get fixed without the need for a purge of the campus.
