Noooo. Don't like the trophy being decided on pens. Extra time would be exciting though.

Heart says Croatia, head says France.

Extra time is rarely exciting though and usually nothing happens and it goes to penalties.
The Croatia extra time win against England is an exception.

Really don't understand the dislike for France in here. The team France left home from the world cup would give Croatia a good game. They are where they are on merit, and are a much better team to watch than Croatia,

Last three finals went to extra time, two of them had winners in them and the other one of the most memorable red cards in football history.

As a Utd fan, would like to see Paul Pogba do it

RTE finally caving and giving him some credit

Dunphy raging

Hoping for Croatia win here. Inspiring to see such a small country produce some fantastic footballers and compete in a WC final. We should take a lot from them so far. The FAI rot needs to be cleared out and money pumped back into grassroots so that we begin to produce more talented footballers.

I think Croatia could well do it in a WC that has had plenty of upsets so far.

It was Hamman talking about Pogba and Dunphy hasn't had his say yet.

I think it's right to debate Pogba as his performances with Utd are very different and I wonder how he'll do with Utd next season if still there.

Have they not figured out that nobody likes these song & dance acts before finals yet? Absolutely tone deaf.

I don't think it's hate.

They were awful in the group stage, the game against Denmark was the worst in the whole tournament.

The state of the team they have, yet they've only won one single game by more than 1.

They played the most fun team, Belgium, and beat them with a header from a corner.

It's not hate, they're just nowhere near as much fun as they should be.

At least Will Smith seems to be doing his part. That chick (whoever she is) is very very blatantly lip syncing.

In fairness it's 6pm there.

We're well used to 4 o'clock premiership kick offs here.
