They have these devices called aeroplanes now.
I do suspect that a lot of the commentary is been done from Dublin. It probably would have been different if Ireland had qualified but based on expected audience numbers and therefore how much they can charge their advertisers it's not possible to send commentators to every match.

There's no way Ger Canning was sent to Russia.

Why do you think it's only ever George and/or Ronnie and Ray that we only ever get actual footage of actually being on the ground in Russia? It's because they're the only ones out there; everyone else is Dublin.
