Rim protector tyres

Does anyone know where I might get tyres the protector your alloys. I have 19" alloys and can't seem to get the right tyres for them. The tyres seem to sit just behind the alloy instead of on top.

Does anyone know where I might get tyres the protector your alloys. I have 19" alloys and can't seem to get the right tyres for them. The tyres seem to sit just behind the alloy instead of on top.

Have a look on the likes of eiretyres, they list tyres with rim protection. Better still, look for tyres that match the other ones you have just to be sure.

225/35/19. I had a look on oponeo and they don't have the size. They do ok the English site but don't delivery to Ireland.

It looks like a set of Cadiz 19” alloys on a Golf R (from your other thread - https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057990686). If this is the case, the tyre size for this should be 235/35/R19

Accelera are not a very good tyre brand, they are cheap. I wouldn't fit them on a wheelbarrow.

There is a clip on rim protector that I've seen that fits over the rim and under the tyre.
Cannot for the life of me recall the actual name, but they seem fairly effective and IMO much more cost effective and practical than looking for a specific tyre to the job.
They can also iirc be got in many colours to add a little trim customisation.

MX Valeting no longer are an Alloygator partner, they can fit customer supplied Alloygators no problem. Cost is €100. Probably best get in contact.
