Another wee van. Local farmers run-around, when the jeep is unavailable. Back end was on the road, whatever he has in the back ......

Great finds Nekarsulm; I love old Irish car vans. A lot of them as you might know are quite literally unique to Ireland and as such part of motoring history here IMO.

My parents have come into possession of a house in Kilnaleck. Going by your contributions to this thread in the last few years..I hope to be kept busy down there with my camera this Summer!

There is a pub in Kilnaleck called The Copper Kettle. For years tbere was a BMW 850 coupe sitting on the main street outside it with 4 flat tyres. Dissapeared a cohple of years ago, sadly I never took the time to investigate it when I had the chance.

"Have come into possession of" most Cavan saying ever .... :D

Don't you guys know that Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer is banned in the South?
Only Calcium Ammonium Nitrate is allowed down here. ( CAN) which is chemically unsuitable for explosives.

Freely available in the North, and always was. Which makes you wonder about the authorities up there .......

The Cortina belongs to a friend of my father's, we convoy'd down to Tipp raceway over the weekend but were soon left for dust in a 3 tonne camper. Corolla, Starlet and Micra all spotted there too. Rover on the M7. And a couple of shots of an old Micra taking quite a hit.
