Today turned out better than I expected. I wonder will see some snow tomorrow night to lower levels in the west and north west.

Met Eireann seem to be going for it somewhat
By evening some showers will fall as snow, especially over higher ground in the west and northwest.

tomorrow should be an interesting day if you like active weather going by their forecast.

That wasn't the worst of days here, a few heavy showers but plenty of nice sunshine in between.
    8c outside now.

Nice down here so far today
Nothing like the sort of week it looked like from forecasts Sunday
Very little rain here last night and you'd not know it today

Pity it wouldn't stay like this all day.
Had a short shower of hail since, nothing to heavy though. 7c now.

This is exactly the weather in NCD today!

Went out for walk at lunchtime. Needed the warm hat and sunglasses heading out and kept them on as a wind and hail shield on the walk home!

Cold wind today. Just had a hail shower and now sunshine.

PA parping what I suspect will be shown to be nonsense, about 24c in parts of UK (that probably being Berkshire for an hour or two!) midweek.

Got to love Ireland in March.

Some sort of graupel/snow mix settled on my car and then go to the bathroom and see the first mosquito of the year.

Blustery today not particularly nice in Dublin. Says it's going to be 18c and sunny on Tuesday with no wind, looking forward to that.

What's with all this wind???? Last night was loud and very windy here in Dublin 24 Firhouse.
Wild gusts seem a lot stronger than what was forecast and continuing.....
Nothing out of the ordinary on the forecast that I can see though....... except someone referenced seeing an Orange wind warning for tonight from Met Eireann?
I see a yellow one for the West now but my goodness it's relentless here!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,789 ✭✭✭appledrop

I know what you mean Wine Goddess. We were in park yesterday afternoon and it was miserable.

What ever way the wind was blowing it was just horrible. My son actually fell over on his bike in wind.

We were all wrapped up but just didn't cut it yesterday with the cold, the wind was raw.

    So glad to get home!
