Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    went for my sat morning constitutional out to poolbeg lighthouse, strong gusty southerlies , plenty of white horses. it was still dark, high tide was 2 hours off but still plenty of spray over the wall, decided not to walk the wall but saw 2 people heading out, thought it was nutty in the dark, I hope they knew what they were doing.

    It is the darkest day in Galway city in my memory. There are treacherous looking low hanging clouds in the deepest shade of grey I've seen. I'm right beside the window but I really need the lights on to get anything done today. This has never happened before and everyone else here agrees. It's quite eerie.

    Just had 20 or so minutes of significant snowfall in Ashbourne/Ratoath (South East Meath. almost Fingal) area, was pitching, but I suspect it's just slightly too warm and wet for it to stick once the fall stops.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
