Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    2 Quick questions if anyone happens to know... cant believe I've left all this so late but anyways...

    1. Is it still the case that applying through the Cao means you'll only be offered one course (if any) and the order of preferance will determine this.

    2. From my understanding of the online application it seems to ask for your examination number for the leaving cert, obv as a mature student I dont have a record of this unless its on the actual certificate, (being overseas is proving difficult to find documents!)

    Any info greatly asppriciated

    Yes.

    Email the CAO office with any concerns. The website should have contact details.

    1. With the CAO they offer you your highest preference which was offered to you but some Universities like Limerick dont require mature application through the CAO so if you applied to them you could in theory get two offers.

    2. Either call your old school or the State Examination Commission who can provide this.
