As voltage is the same, couldn't you just swap out the plug? Maybe not recommended?

once you have the same fuse there shouldn't be an issue on swapping the plug

I'll copy them and send them to you tomorrow. Send me your email via PM if you would as the files will be too big for here.

EDIT: no need, instruction manual is online:

Just an update in my case . A few pages back ,my issue was that the broken grounds were going into the waste tray instead of making coffee.

As suggested , I greased up the o rings . However it looks like they are too far gone as the brew unit is still stiff when moving it .

I've ordered replacement o rings/service set so that should sort the problem.

I'm guessing this issue with happen to others who bought the machine around the time of the original BA (like myself )

I ordered this kit last week. I was going to post it when I have used it. It was about the same price as a tube of silicone:

Piebert Fully Automated Coffee..

Yeah , I think you were better off ordering the kit first day . If you have the brew unit dismantled anyway, its not that much more work to replace the 2 o rings at the same time.

I just bought one of these:

https://www.gaggiadirect.com/bean-to...egory=17767053

£20 delivery to Ireland but I have a £20 off code: CB2019FEB

It’s better in every way than the DeLonghi Caffe Corsa machine. It has the same internals as all of the Gaggia Automatic machines - just no touch screen.

They have a fully automatic Cappuccino version for £350 if that’s your thing.

I found the delonghi service manual online this morning.

https://elektrotanya.com/cgi-bin/dow...sam_3200_s.pdf

It has a walkthrough on cleaning the infuser. I suggest using some specialist coffee detergent like this:

PAZAZZ Coffee Residue Remover & Backflush Cleaning Powder for Espresso Machine Group Head Grouphead https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07T73M2KY/

Without fail, every Sunday morning (just finished this week's now), I clean out my machine.

Clean drip tray, grid and coffee grounds holder (after emptying obviously) in warm soapy water.

Rinse out infuser under warm water - no soap.

And a wet cloth to remove all the dried coffee grounds and drips around the machine.

Therapeutic almost!

This is a bit more than that. You can dismantle it and clean the valve, relube the piston, change the seals etc.

I do recommend a coffee detergent. I have a tub of Cafiza and it dissolves coffee oils like you wouldn’t believe.
