Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Pokemon S & S- Dual Pack 1 Dynamax crystals?

    The listing on ShopTo says that the Dynamax crystals are included in the dual pack

    No mention of a digital dual pack though and I don't remember previous versions having it. Just a 10-pack of QuickBalls for buying online.

    Well, I've ballsed that up.
    Went to pre order but out of stock everywhere :(:(

    I am *not* popular in my house right now.

    I've ordered to Parcel Motel so he should have it the week after release.

    In the meantime I'l be getting one of the titles (singly) to play on launch day.

    For physical copies of the game, is the save data held on the cartridge or in the cloud ?

    In terms of trading Pokemon back and forth would he be better off ending up with one games as physical and one as digital download or both as physical ? Or is there a difference ? We're a one Switch house - I take it he'll have to wait for Pokemon Home before he can move pokemon around in this gen ?

    With only one Switch, yeah, you will need to wait for Pokémon Home. If ye had two, you could just trade between games with Nintendo Online.

    Either way, it won't make a difference if you have a digital download or a cartridge.
