Quite possible, or maybe it was lying through omission by failing to mention the BLM LGBTQ[insert more letters here] mob?:eek:

Cmon Man! THAT doesn't fit the agenda...esp for a liberal paper like the NYT.
I mean "mostly peaceful" demonstrations are what the BLM ANTIFA goons engage in. Despite Antifa being declared a terrorist organization by the Feds 4 years ago. So you have Domestic terrorists of both Left/Right in the US...Same difference, they are both assh&&es that believe in violence and Fascism or Communism. So I'd gladly piss from a great height on all 3groupings:mad:

What this NYT "journalist " tried to do is link Oath keepers[retired and active US armed forces and police and others who take their oath of allegiance to the constitution seriously to protect it from all enemies foreign and domestic...[Unlike the last 3 Democrat presidents and their lackeys] as lifelong and not something you forget when you retire with the demonstration on Capitol Hill and failed miserably with comparing it to a long defunct Neo Nazi network.

Yeah, they're really clutching at straws comparing the Proud Boys with their Mexican leader, to a White Supremacist group from the 80s.

There was a semi-auto Mac-10 I think? wasn't there an issue about open or closed bolts and a ATF ruling that changed on them?

MAC10 " is a generic common usage term like describing any 4WD as a "jeep"

The one that shot Alan Berg was a illegally converted SWD/ Cobray/RPB copy of the original Military Armament Company [MAC] of Ingram fame.

Its kind of complex the history of the Ingram MAC[ill refer to the copies in small "mac"]

1964 Gordon Ingram founds in Georgia Military Small Arms Company[MAC} to sell his two designs the MAC 10 and MAC11 45ACP and 9mm respectively both are select-fire models,as well as his partners Mitch Werbell mk3 Sionics 2stage suppressor. Later they produce the .380 version of the MAC11 in a select fire.
MAC goes bankrupt in the mid-1970s as orders internationally get cancelled and the US prohibition of exporting silencers [the better seller of the gun]

The tooling and the logo and rights to make the "Ingram design" passes thru multiple companies in the 80s and 90s. along the way SWD made the "Mac 11/9" the "stretched 9mm version often seen used in all good 80s TV shows, quite alot in Miami Vice:P] As the 1981 drug war took off the ATF were confiscating these guns aplenty as they were cheap and cheerful easily converted bullet hoses...
SWD was the original purchaser of the MAC tooling and half-completed guns so some are stamped SWD and MAC to add to the confusion You then have RPB,Leinad and Vulcan armament making copies of the design.[There even was a UK version made by Section 5 firearms in Kent s that fell thru]
These were all Semi Auto OPEN bolt designs.

The gun design fell foul of BATF in the and the Mc Clure Voklmer act as being an open bolt design and being too easily converted to select fire. So RPB industries took over and redesigned it to a CLOSED bolt They produced all four variants in a PISTOL version only,as adding the wire stock made them Short Barrelled Rifles and subject to Fed tx stamps and licensing

Then the assault weapons ban of 1994 hit and pretty much finished it off as a commercial entity altogether. They are fun little albeit awkward pistols and more fun in bullet hose and suppressor configuration.

The only real difference is Nazism allowed corporate and private industry in its society. Socialism and Communism leave everything in the hands of the workers... Two sides of a VERY bad coin my fam had the misfortune of experiencing in the 30s and beyond.

Does the title block of that site not make you a little suspicious? It’s basically saying “we are totally not a russian stooge outlet- honestly”- on the top of every page. The writing isn’t exactly subtle either- maybe they’re trying a little too hard?

To be fair, the right accuses the left of lying and they reject the Russia conspiracy theory so it's not like they're saying anything unrelated.

Well Trump, looked after the wealthy more than the working man. Biden can’t touch the firearms, he’d lose votes, He can tighten background checks etc. but who says that’s a bad thing.

Any meddling with the 2A or gun laws will lose him votes, but he already has so he will lose votes. It will achieve nothing, the whole of south America can get in now he fcuked up the border with Mexico, them boys in the Mexican cartels don't mess around, and guns, like drugs are no problem for them to get.

A big portion of guns in Mexico come from the USA only one gun store in Mexico. Mostly ars. Used there. Not having to record who you sold a gun to in the states is a joke. Until that changes it’s a mess.

Recording who you sell to creates a registry, registration lead to confiscation , it's the only reason why they haven't had , Canadian, British, Australian etc style massive confiscations
It's a right not a privilege there , So imho they should never allow a gun registry to be made there

I don't think he can go wrong by tightening background checks, the situation over there is mental and has been for quite some time.

We have tight enough checks here in Ireland and sadly firearms are licensed to people who end up doing heinous things with them.

Some of them have made national headlines and I'm sure there must be others that have never been reported.

You are against a registry of who owns what type of firearm and confiscation of firearms?

That's an opinion I've never heard before.

So you’re happy for private citizens legally entitled to own guns to sell them to persons convicted of felonies?

Well apparently different sources with an axe to grind with the British government. Ie Libya, communist eastern bloc, and persons in the USA with sympathy for the republican cause. So possibly most stores in USA. They’re the documented ones.

I actually think the 50 cals definitely came from the USA.

Given that 2A in the States is designed to help protect the citizens from the Government, I can see the logic in the Government not having a shopping list to go collecting the guns if they decide to do so.

You do that and get caught, which is extremely likely, you go away to jail for a very long time, and not in one of the cushy places we have here. The American judges are not shy about doling out the porridge.

If there’s no register of who owns the gun, they can’t trace it to you. Plus it’s heading over the border with a nice margin on the cost.

A very bad thing actually...As it also includes Red flag law. Meaning that your anti-gun wife or relative or a neighbour at the end of the street can make an unfounded claim about you and your guns and you find a SWAT team kicking in your door to grab your guns, and you on the wrong end of an unnecessary and lengrhy leagal process to retrive them...Already been three deaths with this ...Tell me how this is good?

Nothing good about unnecessary loss of life. But having unregistered firearms floating around society can’t be a good thing can it? I’m sure there’s people we all know who we wouldn’t like see armed with a banana never mind semi auto rifles. I’m pro gun.

True enough...From Barrack Obama and his corrupt ATFE lacky Eric Holder... In a little sting operation called "Fast and Furious" where ATFE coerced small-time gun dealers in border towns to "sell" guns to stool pigeons in Mexican Narco gangs.
    It had NOTHING to do with stopping the illegal supply of guns to Mexican Narco gangs who buy the majority of their weaponry off;

[1] Corrupt Mexican police or military officials in organized "raids" on police or military depots. Supplied and sold by the US govt to Mexican govt agencies. As evidenced by the recovered full-auto weaponry and serial numbers.

[2] Off other Leftist dictatorships and banana republics like Venezuela and FARC guerrillas down in Columbia.
Its now easier to buy an illegal gun in Mexico than anywhere else and so long as you have enough cash to pay off the police who are paid a pittance of wages. Its as common as muck down there.
F&F and indirectly because of it killed 3 border patrol agents and the direct responsibility for those deaths like with Holder and Obama as the authors of this mess.
