    Boards.ie Policies and Practices:
    • No advertising, spamming, or pornography.
    • No trolling, flaming, or personal abuse (i.e., challenge the post, not the poster).
    • No feeding the trolls (or thanking the trolls, which is just another way of feeding them).
    • No backseat modding. Discussing someone’s behaviour and posting it on a thread in this forum is an example of back seat modding.
    • Use the Report a Post report.gif function. If you see something you know is against the forum charter, please bring it to our attention. Do not post in the thread. This can be used simply to alert the Mods to something, to request something (like new posters unable to post a link - we can edit your post to save it for you) or to report abusive posts etc.

    Some simple rules to follow!
    1. No personal abuse. Attack the post, not the poster.
    2. No Trolling.
    3. No Spamming, shilling or advertising. Bans will be given for blatant advertising and posts removed and reported for site wide bans upon sight.
    4. Zero Tolerance is in place with regards discussion of unfounded allegations against fighters, particularly in regard to steroid use. If you want to accuse them make sure you have a bulletproof source or you will be banned.
    5. No Fighter abuse, you can talk facts but calling fighters names etc. is just not necessary. Any racist, sexist or inappropriate comments relating to ethnicity will not be tolerated on this forum.
    6. No text speak, use the whole keyboard when making a post.
    7. No questioning Mods decisions on the public threads, take it to PM if you have a problem.
    8. Put spoiler tags spoiler.gifon threads title if the result of recent fight is inside.
    9. Bad language or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated whether aimed at fighters or other posters.
    10. Links to fights are not to be requested, or posted, either in a post or via PM, in any thread on this forum. This is a bannable offence. If you ask for a link to a fight which is on Pay Per View you are going to be bombarded with illegal streams and as such, no links can be requested. If you ask for a link to a fight that’s PPV to be posted on the thread this will be judged the same as putting up an illegal link.
Any response to a request for a link, that has not yet been removed by a Moderator, will also be treated as a breach of Forum Charter and will result in an immediate ban.
In accordance with official boards.ie policy, we will need to be very strict on the enforcement of the rules, so please do not post any streams that are not 100% non-copyright.
    11. No Freedom of Speech - you post here under the knowledge the www.boards.ie is a privately owned and operated board, Deviating from what the owners are or are not cool with will get you Banned and KO'd Quicker than a Mike Tyson left hook!

    Specific Forum Additions:
    • No thread spoiling (i.e., stay reasonably on thread topic).
    • No trashing of Boxing as a sport, or of individuals (i.e., constructive criticism is welcome, but flaming is not).
    • PM the moderator if you need clarification regarding this charter, or boards.ie policies and practices in general, or for actions taken that relate to an infraction/warning/ban received. The first stage in the boards.ie official appeal procedure is to PM the moderator.
    • As far as the charter goes we will use common sense in dealing with posts so just because it's not in the charter if it's out of order we will pull you on it.
    • This Forum caters for anything Boxing related, threads about the Kickboxing etc. will be moved to the relevant site, most notably, SD/MA forum.

Recommendation beyond boards.ie policies or practices:
Ignore Button: If there is someone on this forum you personally dislike, or frequently makes comments that you personally dislike (that do not specifically violate this charter), simply click on their user name, and when the menu opens, select the ignore option. Problem solved.
