Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

PSX emu for Win Xp ?

    Anyone know of the above .
    I had a PS ages ago and kept Driver and SF(a few of them)
    And was looking for a decent Emu to play em on my pc .
    Bleem and Virtual gamestation dont work on XP .
    Anyone know of one that does .

    epsxe is the only one you want. go to www.ngemu.com there are installers there with everything you need except the bios but that is pretty easy to find.

    tried that keep getting blue screen of death and then a memory dump ,i just want to play Driver and ISS and street fighter again :(

    Hmmmm, I had the same problem as you kdja only a few months ago with an old version of ePSXe. I flashed my motherboard's Bios and the problems stopped.

    I think the problem was fixed in the latest version of ePSXe.

    Got ePSXe working but still get memory dumps when playing Driver (well loading) think its the movies that are doing it .
    There is a way to turn em off i
    will check it out .
    And it supports netplay cool :)

    start epsxe with the switch -nomdec it will disable the mdecs and hopefully start the game. however the game it meant to be compatible. me is thinking you have the wrong plugins.

    if you have an nvidia card geforce or tnt use petes opengl gpu plugin.
    if you have a 3dfx use lewpys or petes direct3d
    if u have a ati card use petes direct3d.


    for the cd plugins use petes one or the internal

    and sound try petes, eternal 1.2 or the internal.
