Pace was needed and Kingston made the change.

Too much fúcking about with the ball there, drive it into the corner.

What is this messing at the back? We got caught for 2 goals in the Limerick game and we still are doing the same crap in this game

The fûcking around with the ball is doing my nut

Mark Coleman is afraid of his life to hit the ball into the full forward line.

2 or 3 times fannying around with the ball and then loses it.

Harnedy, Lehane and Fitzgibbon have been outstanding in the second half.

Our running game is now really causing problems for Waterford.

Seems like we’re not allowed harrie any Waterford player

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,385 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Ref being influenced heavily by the crowd.

Then as I say it he sends off Austin. I don't think either player should have got a yellow. This is championship hurling not tiddly winks

    Waterford Down to 14.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,385 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Put the ball over the bar. Would have been 5 up. Now only 3 up. No need to go for goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭Amprodude

That was no point for Waterford. Ref totally on their side

  • Registered Users Posts: 151 ✭✭magic17

Tim O'Mahony should never play in defence for Cork again, far more effective in the forwards

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,385 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Connolly has a great brain. Lovely flick up for Lehane there. Great knack for getting goals too

Plenty of negative comments about Cork in recent times.

Cork went to the home of the 'only team capable of beating Limerick' and beat them by 6

    Lovely hurling lads !!!!

My hat is well and truly on.

    Keep your negativity.

We played a game today that nearly everyone thought we'd lose.

We won and played some super hurling.

Away to Waterford - a very nice win indeed,

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,385 ✭✭✭The White Feather

We rode our luck in the first half but then near the end of the first we suddenly began to play and began to believe. The ref helped them along a lot but the hounding we did was very good. Nothing easy given. Don't think Austin should have been sent off but as we all know you dont give the ref any reasons to put you off. Harnedy really stepped up

Great feeling to win as the underdog!!

    Up Cork!!

Jeez lads can we not enjoy this win please!! I am buzzing!

Thanks from Tipperary, methinks that result gives us a chance again. If Clare defeats Waterford and Tipp defeat yourselves

What time is the game next week? Looks like no tv coverage

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭Amprodude

Not being negative. Cork must back this up with a consistent performance against Tipp. Pointless otherwise. We can't lose the run of ourselves because of one win today.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,273 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Again, be happy with the win.

Your posts are normally quite negative. Even this one - we won but it could matter as meaningless.

It's sad that you see a post congratulating Cork on an away win in Waterford as 'losing the run of ourselves'.

I hardly said we were favourites for Munster now!

Well done Cork. Really stepped it up today and lots of hunger their. Cork management get dogs abuse on here but got it right today. Moving Tim O Mahony to full forward today was a masterstroke.
