People are constantly trying to get rid of old mattresses.

Where to they dump them off typically?

    Any ideas?

Maybe a better question would be, "where can I dump an old mattress in sligo?".

Dont expect anyone to answer that.

However you should be able to dispose of your old mattress at a recycling centre

OP, are you buying a new one? Last time we got a new one the shop gave us a plastic wrapper to put the old one in. Left it out the front and when the new one arrived they took away the old one.

They took mine, cost 40 euro, that was for a Double, different price for Single and King size.

I rang them yesterday to arange, and they sent me their bank ac details to do a transfer. 20E each for 3 double mattresses. And collected from the house. Greast service.

That's a great price and even better they collected, a lot less hassle than having to take it yourself to Greenstar and pay more, I'll be keeping their number handy for the future:)
