What can you do with biology degree?

I got an offer for biology and Pe teaching but also had Biomedical science down too. Essentially I'm still unsure of what I want to do yet. Although I know that if I done biomedical science I'd probably edge towards working in research labs. Is it a possibility that I could do the PE and Bio course and after 4 years I could use the Biology degree to do a PHD in Biomedical science if I change my mind about teaching?

Someone doing a pure biology related degree will cover life science topics in depth more so than a combined Bio+Education degree. A PhD supervisor will choose the former particularly if they have completed a lab based 4th year project.

They will have more bench experience and more knowledge of how to read around a bio research topic.
