Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    We've started to implement the first few changes to boards.ie to prepare it for the face lift...

    You WILL notice bad things happening from time to time with boards while we poke it (uuh uuh!).

    Also we'll play with colours for a while to see if we get ones that suit so dont be surprised if you start seeing weird things happening.

    Please please dont all mail us and post here saying "uhh uhh this things not working" until we say we are finished.

    We have to do this in between our day jobs (hey its not like you guys pay us or anything! smile.gif ) so it will take time. However we dont forsee any closures to the site so barring a few ugly bugs, all should be ok.
