Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Fantastic actor, such a shame.
    The Tommy Gun scene in Millers crossing with ‘Danny boy’ playing in the background is one of the finest scenes in cinema history.
    Loved him as the rogue of a lawyer in Erin Brockovich also.

    Ahh yeah he was the boss man in 'Millers Crossing' wasn't he? Great film, haven't seen that in an age, going to stick that on some stage over the weekend now.

    Brilliant actor. So versatile. Not a fan of that take on A Christmas Carol I must say, or the silliness of his Poirot, but so many gems as mentioned.

    Awesome in the Bournes too, and a great film from the early 80s called Shoot The Moon.

    And to think he was only 34 when he played that role! He had me fooled. A true classic and a great actor. Bah humbug......

    He was my favourite Scrooge, and I loved him in The Browning Version. He was an incredible actor.
