Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Temp dropped 0.2 0.3 degrees in the past 3 minutes.... Started typing that it was around 4c then looked again at console and it was 3.9 and now its 3.8....nope 3.7 !! Keep her lit boys! its raining here too might turn to sleet????????????;)

    Wet and miserable again today. The floods around Leitrim yesterday were awful. I was talking to the owner of a local garage and he spent the day towing cars out of floods. One owner had to sit on the roof of his car as the water was so high. :eek:

    Some good gusts here in Collooney today too...

    Edit: just checke dthe NRA weather section to see what their station is reading and it seems mild enough. Maybe its because i am at a higher elevation that is more windy!

    Out the back getting something from the shed just now and I'd swear it was lightly sleeting. Definitely not just rain.
    Wind is gusting about all evening but definitely strengthening the past hour or so.

    Was fierce here in east cork city, serious wind, hail and some lightning.

    Was using my mobile and the signal went and so too did my freesat signal.

    All calm enough now.
