    Just wondering why do people stage new developments without a TV? I have been to maybe 6/7 over the past month and between them there were about 25-30 different types houses to view. Only one of the houses had a TV in the living room. Why is this?

    To keep the tv license inspector away?

    Two reasons;
    So they don't have to pay the license.
    So it doesn't get stolen.

    Items that aren't nailed down go missing from show-houses.

    Room looks better without a tv in it.

    Room to Improve / Grand Designs etc on the telly all do the same thing.
