Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Has anyone seen this? Its really cool!! You make money by searching your normal everyday sites (google ebay etc.). You make 2¢ (through paypal) per search. Its not amazing...But it is pretty sweet. :D

    Not a bad idea to earn money while searching the web.

    But what's the quility of search result?
    When using Google is it the same as Google?

    edit:has anyone got paied from them yet?

    ya, of course i make money from the money you make if i refer you to them ( my special refer link thing is http://netbux.org/?r=21218 ) but if you register you also get to refer people.

    The results you get are the exact same as what you would if you searched from google. except there is a banner. Its easy to put the banner out of veiw, you just have to scroll down the page.

    When will I be paid?
    We send payments on the 15th of each month for the previous months earnings. You must earn at least $50 to be paid for the month. If not, your balance will rollover to the next month.

    The fact you have to have $50 is a bit annoying but, meh.

    ahh, im not having a go at you,

    they pop up a lot, usually people that post once and dissappear,
    ive spent the last day arguing with a few people over whether or not something posted was a referral scam. [it was ]
    check out www.scam.com for some background on these things.

    if its a genuine mistake then no harm done at all :)

    You must earn at least $50 to be paid for the month

    and there's the catch... you must rack up 2,500 searches from your referrer number in 30 days or you get SFA...and I'd imagine the number of searches resets each month or something cunning like that.

    So that's 84 searches a day average; on my heaviest eBay/google sessions I MIGHT manage 30?
    Of course this will inevitably lead to people using bots/macros to search and slow down the search engines :rolleyes:

    ya... crapo. But they do stop the bots by just using a simple number input system. But I'd say theres probably a catch somewhere.

    Great forum!! Thanks. All the people that i have talked to about netbux have been really positive.

    By the way...Ive gotten $2.10 in 2 days and I only have 3 referals.. :D

    People be warned it's a scam it all seems to work fine until you built up about $15 and they delete your account!
