    I think the traction avant is one of the coolest cars ever built, but that number plate and the wing mirrors, quelle horreur!

    Yes, the Euro plates are ridiculous as are the mirrors which look like they came off a moped. The interior is always very untidy also - full of rubbish and car bits and pieces. (It lives around the corner from me).

    Was the traction avant ever available in right hand drive?

    Yes, Citroen had an assembly plant in Slough where they (and later on, the DS) were built in RHD.

    They look like BMW K series motorcycle mirrors.

    Saw one in Trim today!
    Have seen the same one at Dundalk cars and coffee before so must be someone living in the North East area.

    Right hand drive, would it not be more likely that the car and it's owner was on holidays in Netherlands to get that sticker? :confused:

    big exhaust, wire wheels, silly font on plate, classy - Is that Donald TRiUMPhs car ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,414 ✭✭✭tc20

    Two from Blackrock yesterday evening.
    I can't recall the Mercedes model nomenclature for their cabrios - perhaps someone here can (W124 man?)
    W124 = saloon
    C124 = coupe
    S124 = wagon
    ?124 = cabrio
    Also, is the Rover on an old NI reg?
