Anyone here ever listen to this radio satirical show on RTE Radio 1 which starred Dermot Morgan and Pauline McLynn before they became more famous in Father Ted? I missed it the first time round, but I have the CD collection and I have to say that it's very funny.

Scrap Saturday was brilliant, some of the impressions, like Charlie were great. 'Mara...'

I think Owen Roe was also involved? It was way ahead of its time, very funny. I have the tapes and also recorded it off the radio. Think it was on radio 1 around 10am on Sunday mornings.

The “comedy” they have in the radio today is about as funny as Bananas in Pajamas.

It was brilliant! I can still hear the radio blasting in our house on a Saturday morning when this was on. Happy memories.
