Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Welcome to the Superheroes Forum. We're the best there is at what we do and what we do is try to build a community around all things Superhero! We welcome discussion about Superheroes across all media, from comic books to movies, TV shows to novels, and everything in between and beyond!

    It's never easy to start talking to a bunch of strangers anywhere and communities on Boards.ie can seem a bit daunting to join, but we're always keen to welcome new people in. Feel free to introduce yourself and jump in!

    Your Moderators are Nervous Wreck and pixelburp. They're the people who are here to keep the peace and to help you out if you're having any problems.

    As a part of Boards.ie, this forum is subject to the same basic rules as any other forum on the site, and if you do run into trouble abiding, you may need to make use of the Dispute Resolution Forum (where henchmen go to die!). However, for a shorthand version of the rules, just abide by the following:
    • Try to emulate your favourite Superheroes, not your favourite Supervillains
    • If Superman wouldn't say it, you probably shouldn't either!
    • Some people prefer Avengers, others prefer Justice League. No one is wrong so let's not get angry!
    • List threads are forum Kryptonite; let's try avoid them!
    • Spamming, trolling, flaming etc. are the qualities of Dr. Doom!
    • People get angry when spoiler tags aren't used. And you wouldn't like them when they're angry.
