Gas Hob Flame Intermittently Low

    Hi,

The other day I'd had the gas hob on for about 30 minutes, when the flame started to get really low and weak, I assumed the gas was almost empty. However, the next day when I turned it on again, the flames were all full and strong. Then again after being on for a while they went low again.

Any idea what could be causing this? Usually once they start to go low, its empty and the gas runs out completely. I've never had it go up and down before.

It could be a combination of the cylinder getting low and the weather getting cold - though usually it requires quite a significant frost to do that, but the gas does seem more vulnerable to low pressure when it is cold.
