Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

Looking to see if anyone could identify what this could be?

    Hi,

A friend of mine found this on a local beach and it is very curious. The holes fit exactly for your hand as if it was some.form of tool or scraper. Some say it might be an old jug handle, but think it's unlikely.

It is a ceramic sherd and probably Medieval. It looks like a vessel handle in one of your photos.
It’s a very interesting find and it could be very important. I would prefer not to make a guess based on the photos and the museum should be informed as soon as possible. The find site should also be recorded as accurately as possible.
Thanks for posting up about this.
