Creating a 2.4ghz band with a 5ghz bridge

Hi I have set up a WiFi bridge between 2 buildings using 2 ubiquiti m5 loco nanostations. I have conflicting opinions regarding setting up a 2.4ghz network on the receiver building. A company has told me that a d- link router :
    1200Mbps D-Link™ 4G Router (w/ Detachable Antennas)
Can receive the 5ghz signal that has been bridged and can distribute a 2.4 & 5ghz signal. ( I need the 2.4ghz frequency for smart home products)

Can any one help clear up this situation before I decide to buy the router . Thanks
