I have two pets which I keep as lawnmowers for a bit of rough ground. One is a donkey and the other is a hybrid, either a mule or a jennet im not sure.
The mule has a dirty looking lump on her inside back leg and today I spotted a small one on her front leg too about the size of a euro coin.
My vet has been away on holidays and is back next week so ill get her to have a look, if anyone has any idea what they are id be glad of any advice in the meantime.

Just like medical advice, we aren't actually allowed to give vet advice on Boards.

Lumps could be absolutely anything, from fly bite reactions to cancer and everything in between. Even the vet may not be able to diagnose it just by looking at it, and may have to take a biopsy to get a full diagnosis. Is there another vet in the area you could ask if you're worried?

If the other vet isn't a specialist of horses, and doesn't take a tissue sample, maybe you have a savvy equestrian friend around? Impossible to say from pictures.
Good luck and keep us posted?

As Ave Sodalis said, it could be many things from a fly bite to allergic reaction to wart to something more serious. We aren't the best people to ask - a vet is really the only person who'll be able to advise you. And I know it's tough when your usual vet is away, but I think it's always better to ask the other to come and check it out. Even if they're not a specialist equine vet, they'll still be able to give you some guidance and prescription if they feel it necessary.

    Hope everything works out ok.

And now with my mod hat on: we can't ask for/give medical or veterinary advice in this forum.

OP here, due to a handset change I haven't been able to update since.
I had the vet out since and she looked at it.
She wasn't overly worried by the look of it and thinks it's a wart of some kind. She says if it doesn't fall off in a few weeks we'll do something about it. Sedate the animal and treat it.
Probably cost more than she's worth but I wouldn't care as I am an animal person.
