Pregnancy Tests??

If people want to discuss pregnacy test kits and how they work great, but if it veers into medical advice we'll have to lock down.

OP, the digitla kits are interesting, they use an optical sensor instead of the eye to see if the signal has come up. In theory, this may make the kit more sensitive. You'd need to look up the sensitivity claims on the various kits to really compare.

The type of kit that a pregnancy test is (lateral flow immunoassay) can give variable results, they are often referred to as semi quantitative as they are not bad at giving a yes/no answer but can be difficult to tell concentraiton (this is what the digital kit aims to do when it tries to estimate how long a pregnancy is going on the basis of a particular pregnancy hormone increasing in concentration as the pregnancy progresses).
