Rumbles getting rumblier in Dublin 16. Very dark now.

Under a massive storm here in D22. Torrential rain and constant lightning and rumbling thunder for 30 minutes now.

Most impressive i have seen in Ireland. So persistent!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭pad199207

Easily the best daytime storm for a while in Kildare.

Heavy hail now in Dublin 16. Alarms going off and stripping small/young leafs off trees!

No sign of boom boom at the moment.

Another one trying to develop in Meath to follow similar track by looks of things. Let's see if it can take off.

Picture posted on IWO site (facebook) of hail drifts in Maynooth, more than any snow that fell all winter by the looks of it.

Radar looks active for next half hour at least in Dublin.

Shot taken about ten minutes ago (by GL of this forum, sent to me on facebook) ... looking north towards Lucan from near Casement.
