After a quick search it seems that there is no condensed graduate entry nursing courses in the republic. I see a few in the UK all right for intellectual / general / psych.

Why is that the case and will it change anytime soon ? We have graduate entry medicine , physio , occupational therapy , speech therapy , teaching but no condensed graduate entry nursing program on the island?

no it wont change because a nursing course cannot be condensed/shortened as the NMBI have a requirement all students must complete a specific amount of hours before they can register in addition to a 36 week internship. In the UK those courses are not condensed they are post grad courses to obtain a dual qualification in either intellectual / general / psych.

    Incorrect

accelerated or shortened pre-registration courses are available in certain clinical professions.

Typically, these courses allow graduates of other subject disciplines to undertake approved pre-registration training in two years instead of three or four. This is because accreditation for prior experiential learning (APEL) can be given by the university. Such courses are available in:

nursing – adult, children’s, learning disabilities, and mental health fields

Then email the NMBI and ask them. They are the only ones that can answer your qs appropriately
