The Return of Mike Ross (Interview)

Saw this video from about two weeks ago this morning. An interview with Mike Ross. Sounds like he went through a very dark period where he cut himself off from the world.

Interviewer Lap Chi doesn't show great technique though at times. It's clear he's hurting and can't really get into specifics. But it also seems he wasn't comfortable being a centre of attention and put on a pedestal, yet Lap Chi keeps announcing the return of Mike Ross to save the FGC and how he needs sponsors (something that seemed to drive him away in the first place).

Was a big fan of Excellent Adventures back in the day. Hoping he's doing better now; he seemed to enjoy just playing at BarFights this summer.

He doesn't seem great there tbh. Very subdued.

He also did a Skype interview on Gootecks esports show, and he looked stoned off his bean.

Did an AMA before that too, and was displaying classic bi-polar/depression tendencies.

Said he wanted to be out of the spotlight, and to be left alone, but then complained that his happy birthday messages on Facebook went from thousands to a handful.

Hope he's just able to get on with his life, and be happy, as he provided us all with hours of entertainment.

Yeah, I've probably watched more Mike "Mike Mike Ross Ross" Ross and enjoyed it than many tv programmes over the years. I hope he's ok, whether within or without the FGC.
