    lol...

i find it genuinely humorous that people get so worked about stuff like this...I genuinely do.

    Turn the station. Problem solved.

And you can be DAMN sure they wont have a problem getting enough viewers to warrant it being on air.

I'm not defending it, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

its semi reality. i dont know the ins and outs but as far as im aware certain situations are engineered.

but they dont exactly deny that anyway, its just sold to people in a way that makes them question the legitimicy. the "is it? isnt it?" factor is part of the allure, worked absolute wonders for "the hills".

Semi reality shows are kind of like semi erections. They promise a lot but they don't amount to much do they?

Its not the show it was more the "begrudger" or "haters" comments.

Like i said i wont rag on the band but i wont instantly support a show i dont like because of it or give it the irish "fair play"

    Hardly so work uppped:)

yeah but i think "the hills" was sort of the first ones to do that.

I dont think you'll find anyone on here who likes "The only way is Essex" which is the exact same version of the show for England.

Oh by the way Damaged, very impressed with your ones portfolio, her lines are really sharp and straight, didnt see much shading which is what id like to see as im not a fan of colour but seriously impressive.Cheers for the heads up

Yeah, that guy in Tipp, I've had dealings with him. I don't have a tattoo. I do know that there isn't really that many great tattoo artists in the world. It's a small community - and there's lots of chancers about. Anyone can do tattoos - they sell the guns on the internet - you can make a jailhouse one with a broken walkman, a biro, a battery and a guitar string. It takes years to become good at it and really know what you're doing. It's a job that pays really well. But I've heard the serious guys travel the world apprenticing with famous artists.

Hey, but you can always just learn by trial and error.

Sean, want to be my first customer - Noobian Prince tattoos? I can do a dolphin or a seal - or something that looks like it could be either, if you used your imagination.

So unsure how to interpret your posts, maybe I'm wrong but you come across like ya got a real chip on yer shoulder dude...

haha, i'd say that's the one thing people who know me would say I don't have tbh.

If you think any of what I've said is said from a place of insecurity or low self esteem, you really don't know me.

See you're proving my point. Anybody who calls anybody else out on something they're doing which is absolute sh1t (which nobody has disgreed with so far), and suddenly it's all 'bregrudgery', 'chips on shoulders' and 'haters be hatin'.

So thanks for demonstrating my point.

i have. its not exactly high art but ive seen a lot worse and the mcd angle was interesting.

sometimes people want to be entertained by something that doesnt need any thought. after a long day in work i like to watch crap - big bang theory and other mindless comedies. i've even found myself sitting down to xfactor this year. not for the music but just for the entertainment (and plus that rebecca girl can seriously sing ). its meant to be slightly mindless.

it is what it is. it serves a purpose. and unless its well received it probably wont get past the first season.

Nothin interesting about it. Just some clueless tit getting an internship in mcd.

Funny you should say something like that. That's something like Tsar Nicholas said to Lenin and Stalin. "Hey you goys.. like roysh,, you've got a real chip on your shoulders or something. Just relox - or chillox. Can't you just be happy for me"

Listen. It's a terrible idea. It looks like the mankiest Daily Star or Irish Independent crap anyone could have thought up. Granted, the girls do look hot - apart from the one who looks like a blue bottle - but the minute they'll open their mouths out will come the sh1t.

    This show is **** - everyone knows it's ****.

I'm embarrassed to be Irish - it's a reason I don't own a television. Watching RTE even by accident is embarrassing - like I feel embarrassed for the people on television.

Sorry Einstein, Jtsuited is right. And I am afraid he's got something that your well connected daddy can not buy you; street credibility and coolness.

Jeff, I've got an idea for your next blog post. Whingy well-connected Irish whores with zero credibility - who whore themselves and then whinge when people call them whores.

RTE, could have done something gritty and cool - followed something real. Instead they do this "hey, ma look at me I'm on television" ****.

Actually, I am doing the next post about the absolute bullsh1t getout clause of 'haters be hatin'. I'll make sure to mention the Irish version of it.

yes. that's right. write off the fact that anyone with an IQ over 85 will have their blood boiled by this sh1te as haters.

Pathetic rubbish, and no, the end doesn't justify the means.

And what exactly do you know about the end if you have never been there and back? Well? Create your own destiny or at least allow others to do so.

You sound like you do have a beef with mindless TV but if you didn't care for it you wouldn't be bothered having too much of an opinion on the matter, you seem like you are putting down those of us who enjoy this type of thing. I watched the hills and I am not ashamed to say I did, what am I not cool enough, is my IQ so low that I am not worthy to be loved and respected because every now and then I dip my fingers into trash? I'm too tired to try and keep up with 'Lost' episode 77 (still in the jungle with mysterious bald guy) that's as rubbish and as predictable as the next thing.

In fact your response is as predictable as Fade Street, someone on this forum will have defended or given their commercial taste and integrity based on their righteous opinion the same way Fade Street has cliche characters. You are not of a better pedigree than any other human on this planet based on your taste for television and music. Your perception might very well change one day and believe this or not you may just find yourself enjoying things you used to sneer at.

I watch documentaries on Space, I find it fascinating and on the other end of my spectrum I watch sluts bang it out on porn tube, and that's tacky trash right?

Humans watch everything and some like and dislike it and have your say but you have said some hurtful things in your post. The part about 'bottom of the barrel' is really uncalled for. Why would you say something like that?

Do you not eat trash now and again? Does your genital pipe smell good all day long? Because I can predict that you are going to say I am missing your point and try an justify yourself? Do you know why? Because you are going to feel like you have to defend yourself? And do you know why you are feeling like that because you know you have brought a bull **** cocky approach to the discussion along with all the other morons who think they are 'the ****' for having their commercial tastes so well refined. You can have an opinion but please remain positive otherwise it comes across as immature.

J90 are real players, respect that they got on the show and big up the lads.

You need a shrink mate get yourself one quick, your a bitter hater, stop trying to make yourself out to be mr happy pants who has it all sussed. If I put you in a shuttle and blasted you deep into space you would be missing your couch and TV. Your far too concerned about what some mythical entity thinks about you, you overly self conscious liar. Stop fooling yourself, the fact that you have a laptop means you crack off all night to 'you porn' trash. Don't be embarrassed man I love ya it's all good in the hood.

Dav, I'm not sure how much of an academic background you have but you really haven't made any point here, apart from calling me cocky, and showing your support for this rubbish.

You can do what you want with your life, if you choose to put more sh1t into the world (and you know it's **** btw), fine by me. But don't be so absolutely silly to call people who rightly call it out for the dreck that it is as 'begrudgers', 'haters', etc.

Porn serves a very genuine purpose Dav.
Fade Street serves a purpose of furthering the careers of people of very little discernible talent, intelligence, or usefulness to a society.

It would have far more merit if I could crack one off while watching it.
