John Ryan must have slept with Van Grann's wife or something. How he can't dislodge the penalty machine that is Stephen Archer from the starting team boggles my mind.

Jesus lads it's amazing that Munster manage to win any matches if every single call the ref makes against them is incorrect :pac:

Watched it back. The carrier never got to ground from what I can see.

If it was a maul there was a Connacht player collapsing it from a position on the ground. Very strange decision

What a scrappy half of rugby. Poor from both sides but Frank isn't letting anything go.

Connacht will be happy to only be one score down but havn't shown much in that half that will worry Munster.

Frank, you are just destroying what could have been a really entertaining game.
    He hasnt destroyed anything
Been game with lot of mistakes so he's had to blow up a lot...

    Maul defence is a disgrace.

Edit: absolutely brain-dead from Masterson Jr

Don't you say anything negative about Masterson junior. He may make the odd mistake but he is a massively talented back row player

Sean O'Brien played a very good half of rugby.
My 2021 wish is he remains injury free all along the year and beyond!

the tackler was on the ground pulling him down, it was never a maul

Did he? Can't say I've noticed him much to be honest.

Why? He was held up? Doesn’t matter if Roux is on the ground

Everyone bound to the carrier has to be on their feet for it to be a maul

Cronin turning over ball and slowing down the ruck. No idea why he isn't taking Healys place.

Yeah but he put us slightly on the front-foot at times, which matters so much

But he didn't collapse it? The carrier was still on his feet. The guy on the ground was a tackler trying to make a tackle. Why would he try to pull a maul down when Connacht needed it to stay up?

Connacht game does not suit a whistle blowing referee. And I think this will be the demise of Connacht tonight. And Frank Murphy knows that well

O'Brien. Looks like neck/shoulder... Not good.

Don’t think SOB 2.0 will be passing any HIA. Looks a bit unsteady there.

Where does it say that in the laws? It just needs a player from either side on their feet. It doesn't matter if there's someone else on the ground.

That late tackle pen was very harsh again.
