    Hello all

Think it would be good to have a thread where you recommend blogs, Instagram pages, YouTubers etc that provide recipes.

I'm a bit out of the loop with social media so interested to see what other people use. I fancy trying new meal ideas for Christmas period

    For solid main meals -

    https://www.noracooks.com/ (and desserts)

https://www.bosh.tv/ (I use their cookbooks. Good for pantry suggestions and basic sauces)

    https://elavegan.com/

    Variety -

    https://www.veganricha.com/

    Sweet stuff -

In fairness there’s mountains of stuff in the above and I maybe shouldn’t have tried to categorise them as there’s lots of variety in each.

Well worth spending time going through each website rather than quickly flicking through.

Some chefs/recipes just suit some people more than others.

For example if you liked Jamie Oliver and his recipes then you will probably like Bosh.

My biggest tip is to AWLAYS print out the recipe. Follow the recipe the first time and then as your eating it you can work out how you’d like to alter the recipe and I just make those notes on the printout so i remember to make those changes next time.

I find I alter about 90% of recipes I make with the exception being baking recipes as they’re much more difficult to alter.

Another vote for Bosh tv. You can get the books but they have tutorials on Youtube and Instagram.

Dr Vegan on Instagram is also good, BBC food online has loads too.

Books wise the Bosh ones, Dirty Vegan and Thug Kitchen are pretty good.

What i tend to do is search for recipes linked to my ingredients, so for example, "vegan celeriac recipe" (or whatever ingredients I have in the fridge) and then look at the rating on each recipe. I've made some interesting discoveries that way.
