Just a quick heads up in case you are not aware -

Bord Gais Energy theatre have an evening with Al Pacino on May 24. The man himself will be there on stage to discuss his career and cant wait.

Tickets went on sale yesterday and pretty sure they will sell quickly. Got mine anyway thank god! Hoo aah!
€95 a pop for a ground floor, not cheap but how often would you get this close to a living legend and hear him discuss some of the best movies of all time!

Scarecrow and Dog Day...two quite different but superb performances there.

Great films there, thanks for taking the time to reply.

Watched Heat last night and just about to start Godfather this evening. Loved the Recruit, must dig out the DVD again!

Would dearly love to go to this, but let's be honest, the price is nothing short of extortionate...

You probably spend that on a night out anyway! Gotta pay extra to spend it with Al!

Love it! We literally never go out just the two of us to events, last time was around 2 years ago so we're splashing out! I actually didn't realise the price of the tickets until they appeared on the visa bill! 😳

Felt surreal to be in the man's company..

Bad points where that Al had more to say on certain films but Tom jumped ahead to the next film too early, some numpties in the audience who can't keep their trap shut and people getting up and going out non stop.

The audio during the clips was deplorable also.

Otherwise, loved it. The man is larger than life, generous with his energy and appreciate of his success. A rare combination at any age, let alone 75.
