    Hello,

I've been looking around for a multitrip (Annual) travel insurance which includes personal belongings i.e. gadgets (Digital camera, laptop, iPad etc).

I just bought myself a MacBook Pro 13" touch bar and soon going for a fly/drive trip in the West Coast for two weeks. I'm going to bring my laptop with me together with a digital camera, iPad etc. I'm a little worried if my items get stolen or lost during this trip so I'd like to purchase travel insurance that will cover these items rather than buy gadget insurance separately. (:D It'll be costly)

I found that Allianz travel insurance does cover for 'Personal possessions' up to €2200 for Gold package. (https://www.allianz-assistance.ie/images/travel-insurance-policy-wording-agaie.pdf - Search for Personal Possession)

Any opinion if Allianz travel insurance above would be sufficient for this? Or if any travellers here have any other options that would cover both travel and gadgets (Personal electronics)?

I already searched in this forum but most of the questions/answers I found were outdated.

    Many thanks. :)

You won't find much in the way of cover from any insurer for a laptop. It will be classified by most insurers under valuables, which you essentially need to keep with you at all times.

Thanks. Well you know sometimes even if you keep your valuable with you all times, weird things could happen :)

I think it' fine then. Thanks again.
