Big wins for Terenure, UCC (ouch) & Trinity at the weekend just showing all that is great about the AIL and 1A in particular.

UCC good value for their win over us. 10,13 & 15 all played very well. No stopping Con at the moment.

To be fair all the leagues look great at the moment, not just 1A.

    1B is properly crazy.

Highfield look nearly 1A standard and their points differential is incredible.

Barnhall unbeaten in 2B and Ballina going for a double promotion.

Nevermind all the flip flopping at the bottom of the respective divisions.

Echoing Chico but all divisions are looking very good at the moment. Shows the great strength of club rugby that i wish more people attended and few more here could do!!!

Wouldnt say 1A standard but then again look at Malone. Won 2A last season and are top of 1B though one loss and they could drop to 4th/5th...
1B is mental. And the rugby has been seriously quality rugby.

Highfield have a crazily big pack, playing very well under Timmy Ryan.

New layout is ten times easier to use and navigate, but my gripe is that none of the links work any longer, ie if you google something and a link comes up for an article that was on irishrugby.ie it'll just redirect you to the home page.

New layout is good. Hopefully the links to old articles etc will be fixed. Totally agree with you.

James Blaney stepping down as Terenure head coach at the end of the season. Done a great job to take them from middle to bottom of the pack in 2A up to 1A including going something like 2 years unbeaten.

    1A

Cork Con v Clontarf - Big big game and it is hard to see Con slipping up at home but Tarf are probably one of the only teams out there that can match Con phyiscally. Still expecting a Con win though.

Trinity v UCC - This is a great game for the neutral. Both teams love to throw the ball around and are exciting to watch. UCC to squeeze out the away win

Garryowen v Terenure - Terenure were much much better the last time out by all accounts and so were Garryowen by all accounts. Garryowen will edge it up front and that will be the difference

Lansdowne v Shannon - Big game for us after the disappointment of the UCC game. Really impressed with Shannon this season and we will need to play very well to beat them.

UCD v Young Munster - Ordinarily you would say UCD at home should have enough for Munsters but with UCC winning last time out Munsters will be really feeling the pressure and that's usually when you see the best from them. UCD know another loss really puts them right in it so I think they will prevail but only just.

    1B
Easier to pick the winning lotto numbers this weekend but here we go:

St Marys v Naas - Resurgent Naas seem to have got their mojo back and I think they will continue winning

Ballynahinch v Old Wesley - 5th plays 4th expect a great battle and going to tip Wesley for this one.

Malone v Banbridge - 1st v 2nd. Very tasty. 2 form teams but going with home advantage

Old Belvedere v Ballymena - Absolute must win game for both teams otherwise relegation looms. Belvo to sneak it.

Armagh v Buccaneers - Buccs seem to be getting better but are they good enough to beat Armagh away? Don't think so - Armagh

No idea, just read that he was leaving in the Terenure newsletter. I'd guess they'd prefer another Terenure man but who knows.
