Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Im wondering this myself, I know that there was one in the City West hotel last year, not sure about this year. I think there may be one in Clontarf Castle.

In Bettystown - there's normally a blacktie ball in the Hotel there (I think it's one of the Brennan Group). AFAIK it's very reasonable.
