I've been relistening to soundtracks from Tarantino films recently. The tracks they use are just "cool". Dunno if its the swagger, the slide guitar or what, but when I describe a song as tarantino-esque, my friends would generally know what I mean.

In throwing up ideas of songs that should be in Tarantino soundtracks, but have been missed. Sometimes they'll be rare, sometimes a bit obvious. Only thing in common they'll have is that " cool" factor.

First up Dream City Film Club, "If I die, I die". Even the title sounds like pulp fiction.

Next up " Baby did a bad, bad thing" by Chris Isaak. He wasn't all about romping on beaches with supermodels! Deadly song, super mean guitar line.

I'll embed the bids when I get on a laptop, using mobile at mo.

Have ye any hidden gems that Tarantino would say, dammit! Shoulda used that!

Always thought this would have fitted well in one of his films, but Rocknrolla used it.

Love that Chris Isaak song, always used to blast it out at home.

The stuff that was playing in The Haunt at Body&Soul Village in Electric Picnic over last weekend would have fitted into a Tarantino film no problem.

Luckily I Shazamed some tracks from the Haunt sessions. that could possibly fit.

The guitar sound could be a bit more raw but i think the lyrics and the singer's voice fit..

I love this, very unusual reggae music with really cool vocals, could appear as an excerpt anyway in a Tarantino or Coen Brothers movie.

If he was ever going to include Pink Floyd, I reckon he would've have chosen this from their first album in 1967 Piper at the Gates of Dawn. This track is Lucifer Sam.

The Cramps would be perfect in a Tarantino movie soundtrack.

The soundtrack albums to the Sopranos are also similar to the Quentin soundtracks as well, obscure garagey Bo Diddely type numbers.

This has just the right amount of filthy grit for a Tarantino movie. Not sure how to embed a you tube link properly
