Has there been any insight into whether Salah will play this week? I have him in my wildcard team at the moment.

I was curious as to why Salah didn't get 20 mins against Everton, hoping he's fine .. but.

I'm putting him in, he's chasing golden boot and they need to rack up a win.

Currently 2 Wolves up front, that pain definitely needs spreading too!

Klopp said he wasn't quite ready plus I'm sure the players having to go off influenced him. He didn't need to win the game but didn't want to lose it so probably decided not to risk Salah.

Wildcard team as good as selected now, going with

    Pope

    TAA Doherty Ritchie

    Salah (C) Bruno KDB Sarr

    Rashford Jimenez DCL

    Subs Button Saiss Saka Simpson

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

Think this is my final one

    DDG, Martin

    TAA, Doherty, Aurier, Ritchie, Kiko

    Salah, Fernandes, Martial, KDB, Sarr

    Jimenez, DCL, Nketiah

Came down to TAA vs Son

Edit: it wasnt my final one

Humming & hawing over my wildcard team. Presently on:

    De Gea Martinez
TAA Ritchie Doherty Boly Kiko Femenia
    KdB Bruno Son Richarlison Guendouzi
    Rashford Ings Jimenez

Leaves me with no Pool attack bar TAA. Ritchie seems to have been carrying a strain into the last game but came thru it ok + is oop. Double Wolves defence is risky. Having both Bruno & Rashford could also be overkill.
    Alternatively, I could do:
KdB, Ritchie, Son, Ings to Salah, Aurier, Alli, DCL.

That on the other hand would leave me with no Man City attack! Lots of decisions to be made...

Man City's next 2 league games are Chelsea & Liverpool. They have an FA Cup game in between too. It's probably the best time to not have City attackers, if you want to go on a period of not having City attackers.

We all have Bruno, and I had Rashford in but now gonna swap him to a United defender, good run of fixtures for CS even with what Roy says.

And can't have 3 United players.......

    Can I?

So It's Bruno and Maguire or Wan-Biss.

This WC team of mine has changed about 10 times already the past 24 hours.

Look at the first sentence on the transfer page!!
A max of three from one team.
Not much between AWB and Maguire.

Not sure whether to keep Mane or not, same with KDB.

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,480 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

    Currently on Guaita, Pope
    TAA, Chilwell, Boly, Fernandez, Lundstram
    Salah, Fernandes, Bergwijn, Maddison, Foden
    Rashford, Jiminez, Ings

    Thoughts? I've . 2 in the bank.

    Swapped out Mane for Salah.

No logical reason for it whatsoever but have a feeling he's going to come back all guns blazing.

Throwing the armband on him as well against Palace

    Think I’m locked on:
    Button Pope
    AWB TAA Boly Lacelles Holgate
    Saka Son Mané Richardlison Fernandes
    Auba Jiminez Connolly

Will be playing 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 and plan to move Auba out for Rashford next week or week after and possibly upgrade Connolly to a more playable third striker with a plan to get KDB back for Richardllison or Son. A lot could change though I suppose. Just hope KDB doesn’t punish me!

Maddison has been poor for a while now, and Leicsters fixtures arent great.

I'm gonna do the same, as he's likely to get more minutes and hopefully on pens but....I just feel Mane will do well against Palace!

But that end product will take time to come and you need it now .........
Again I will try and convince you
That forward line is killing your squad

There are a good few mid priced strikers who will match auba for rest of season AND you then won’t have to start one of saka or saint maximum every week
Let’s be honest. Do you really think it is a good idea to have double arsenal for any game at all based on what we have seen from them ? And then to add to that you will also have double United attack ...........I can see the logic in that BUT they have still only scored 45 leagues goals in 30 games when all is said and done.
I know the fear of missing aubas one big haul that will inflate the sea of 2 points either side of it will be there .
So I will just ask you one question .
Are you planning on captaining him most weeks?
    If not why ............

Not sure if you're replying to me and mean my team as I don't have double united attack.

    Ive went with option A.

Auba is purely for the next 2 fixtures.
    Southampton and Norwich.
    Captaining against Norwich.

    Then hes gone.

Aguero was the plan but that's changed to Jesus or maybe Kane now if i fancy punishing myself.

I dont see the forward line damaging the rest of the team at all. Only 'templatey' premium I'm missing out on is Bruno and I can easily get him on for Son who is my differential. I have Rashford for United attacking cover.

Also have a pretty premium defence, liverpool and United cover along with Doherty.

Then rotate my remaining 3 defenders with Saka for my 10th and 11th players.

    Guendouzi is my assistant manager.

Same here, its the penalties that swings it for me - not much in them though.

I am going to miss not being able to fully change my team next week

I've shifted out KDB since, I was only going to have him on bench so what was the point in wasting them funds I said to myself.

    Draft number 1,567

    Patricio
    Doherty, TAA, Justin, Fernandez, Maguire
    Bruno, Salah, Son
    DCl, Jimi

    Martinez, Tammy, Armstrong, Saka

Still undecided on my 3rd striker.

    1.4 ITB

Any opinions would be welcome. 0.8 available, I'm 50/50 on whether to keep KDB or not.

Get Baldock out - Saiss, or a Newcastle defender (Ritchie if punty)

  • Registered Users Posts: 708 ✭✭✭loadwire

    Martinez (Martin)
    VVD TAA Doc (Lascelles Ngakia)
    Son Bruno Traore KDB (Saka)
    Rashford Auba Jimenez

I'd be ditching all Sheff United assets. For what..... That's the next question.

A bit too rounded especially if you don't have a BB.
I'd suggest a similar priced player to Foden instead of Mads for when you feel Foden will be benched.
Bergwin will lose/share minutes with Moura.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,349 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Did Fernandez to Ritchie and Baldock to Dunk
    Fleck back to Cantwell

Still have my BB so looking for a half decent playing bench

Nice. Only missing one of Salah/Mané but you can’t have them all!

This isnt a transfer related - but who are people captaining?

I have a choice between Rashford, Jiminez, Vardy or KDB? Leaning towards Jiimenez as he has scored v bournemouth 1 goal in each of last 3 games vs them, and does tend to take penalties for wolves.

My gut feeling tells me to pick KDB though but i am a coward :(
