Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anyone heard anything back on IEC application during lockdown?
    I haven't even got an update on my IRCC profile showing I did biometrics (did them in March). No response since my biometric invitation letter over 2 months ago...

    I'm hoping its just covid slowing down things but the lack of feedback freaks me out a little!

    It says on the website that they are not currently processing any IEC applications but you can still apply to an eligible pool but no invitations to apply will be issued until further notice.

    I recently applied for the working holiday category (IEC) and am waiting for an invitation to apply, does anyone think that they’ll begin processing them again soon?

    My feeling is they won't issue any more invitations before the end of the year.

    POE letter expires a year after you get it. Thus it's pointless inviting people when they may not be able to go over within a year, or get a job once they get over to Canada.
