Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Log cabin or cottages in Ireland

    Hi I'm hoping someone can help me as not having much luck on Google, me and my husband want to retreat to Ireland to live either in a log cabin or cottages near a lake can anyone help to get the ball rolling thank you 😊😊☺

    One of the region specific forums would probably be a better place for your question.

    Click the "Regional" link at the top of the page and select the part of the country you are interested in, then repost your question and you'll be likely to get a useful response because it's more of a housing/accommodation query than related to woodcraft, despite the log cabin aspect.

    Myhome.ie have an option to specify 'cottage' as a housetype - now its still dependant on what people enter houses for sale as,so youll get 500k micro houses in dundrum on the there, but there are some places that probably meet the criteria...
