Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Dive Ireland International Expo is coming to Limerick March 3,4 2018.

    Aughinish Diving Club and Limerick Sub Aqua Club are jointly hosting the annual Dive Show in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Limerick on March 3rd and 4th 2018. The gathering of Ireland's diving community is a jam packed weekend filled with interesting speakers, talented photographers, and an impressive variety of exhibitors showcasing the latest in Sub Aqua technology. With over 1,000 people through the doors it's also Ireland’s largest trade show for underwater sport.

    Taking place at the event is
    · Extensive Trade show and exhibitions
    · International and Local Speakers on Marine based interest
    · A Photography Roadshow showcasing 99 images from Underwater Photographers
    · The Vincent O'Brien National Underwater Photography Competition
    · Search & Recovery Conference open to all SAR teams and members
    · The Irish Underwater Council Instructors, Diving and Training Officers Conference
    · The Irish Underwater Council Annual General Meeting

    Ivan Donoghue, a Wexford based diver, said he looks forward to attending the Dive Show weekend every year. "This year will be my twenty seventh one. It gives me a chance to meet old friends and to listen to a variety of speakers presenting on a range of diving subjects, including my passion… underwater photography. For a person interested in taking up diving or snorkelling, or someone looking to buy dive gear from the exhibition centre, then the dive show is the place to visit"

    In case anyone is wondering, the Dive Show 2018 is going ahead no matter what this weekend.

    Limerick is covered in green grass at the moment, mostly avoiding the bulk of the Snow so far. Many of the traders have already arrived so we will not be cancelling anything this weekend.

    If you are traveling to the Show Saturday or Sunday please drive carefully. This Hotel is actually on the motorway so we hope to see you there.
